Nick's Cove Has Gone to the Dogs

 Nick's Cove

Nick’s Cove Restaurant, Oyster Bar & Cottages has always been dog-friendly. Kayla, DogTrekker.com’s "Research Lab," has given Nick’s her Paw of Approval on many visits. She loves the way the staff welcomes her, the healthy treats baked daily in the kitchen, all of the water bowls around the property and towels in the cottages for a little clean-up after a swim in Tomales Bay.

Last year, Nick’s moved even further into the "dog-passionate" category by adding a waterfront patio and oyster bar where as many as 30 people can enjoy cocktails and oysters with their four-legged friends. Adjoining the patio at dog-friendly Nick’sCove Beach, bonfires are lit every night, weather permitting, so guests and their pups can enjoy the sunset before retiring to their pet-friendly cottages.

The month of March is shaping up to be a fun one for the adults in the crowd, as Nick’s Cove will celebrate the 8th Annual California Artisan Cheese Festival with their own Cheese Appreciation Month. In addition to a featured local cheese on the dinner menu every week, they are offering the Artisan Cheese, Please! package. Included is an overnight stay in one of their luxurious cottages, BBQ oysters upon arrival, a gift basket filled with a local cheese selection, a bottle of Nick’s Cove Merlot and sourdough bread – and in the morning, a continental breakfast for two delivered to your cottage.
