Nick's Cove Restaurant and Oyster Bar is a destination restaurant for award-winning cuisine in one of the most beautiful coastal settings in all of California.

The natural beauty and abundant farm produce of the West Marin coast inspire chef Austin Perkins' seasonal, sustainable and delicious California cuisine.

The menu is sourced from local dairy and produce farms, and the fresh seafood of Tomales Bay and nearby waters.

Each dish is fresh and approachable, the perfect combination of comfort and refinement, and the very essence of elegant but hearty, farm-to-table cuisine.

This newly updated restaurant has all the nostalgic charm of an upscale hunting lodge, complete with restored mahogany bar, wood burning fireplace, reclaimed redwood tables and game trophies on the wall.

You can sample our beloved crab macaroni and cheese, or oysters locally harvested from Tomales Bay and nearby Drake's Bay, accompanied by a drink from the outstanding local wine and beer list.

In Maya’s first trip since early March to the coast, she and her uprights stayed at Nick’s Cove in Marshall, Marin County, on beautiful Tomales Bay.

The Nick’s team has been trained in visitor protection while maintaining the guest experience they have always offered humans and pets. Everything was touchless from check-in to ordering to check-out. Staff, guests and visitors all wore face coverings during our recent stay.

While the Nick’s Cove Restaurant is closed inside, the outside dining area along the pier is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, having a cocktail as the sun goes down or watching the kids and dogs frolic in the bay. more »
