A recent arrival, she's 5 years old, the perfect size at 47 pounds, and ready to share the joy of life with all she meets, whether this involves chasing a ball, going for a ride in the car, or just hanging out. She's spayed and microchipped; her leash manners are great, ditto her house training. She's just waiting for her own person to appreciate her and soak up the love. As HSTT gears up for another year of lifesaving, they're throwing a big party to raise funds so they can keep helping dogs like Ellie. Black Tie & Tails, coming up February 16 at the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, invites both you and your canine companion to enjoy tasty food, music, dancing, and entertainment. Not only will you have fond memories (and selfies) to last a lifetime, you'll know you're making a life-saving difference to the hundreds of animals each year who come into HSTT's care, and making possible a wide range of community education and support.
