We are accepting stray animals including neonatal kittens, owner surrenders from families who have experienced a change in life circumstances, and we are transferring animals from our municipal partners as needed. more »

East Bay SPCA 2018
Meet the two tiny dancers of the East Bay SPCA, Pirouette (2-ish) and Tutu (3-ish). These two are sisters. They're bonded. They're a package deal. They've been together all their lives, and now they're in search of a home where they can stay that way. These cute little Chihuahua-terrier mixes with endearing personalities won't take up a lot of room in your house (or your backpack), but they will take up a lot of space in your heart. They're just waiting to move in. Find out more from their friends at East Bay SPCA in Oakland. more »

Meet Robin Hood! This foxy little guy, currently enjoying the hospitality of the East Bay SPCA while he awaits his new home, got his name for his free spirit and his resemblance to the Disney cartoon character. Now he wants to join your merry band. He's a young Chihuahua mix, but a bit bigger; like a small terrier. At 2, he's old enough to know his own mind; he's smart and independent, fond of making his own decisions. But he's also willing to listen to you and go along, especially if treats are involved. Robin prefers an adult family with no other dogs. If you're looking for an engaging companion for your adventures, he's your guy. more »

Sunday afternoon, October 2 at 2 p.m. at its Dublin adoption center, East Bay SPCA offers a chance to enjoy wine from Canine Wines and Flora Springs, sample tasty hors d'oeuvres, meet adoptable animals, listen to live music, and make generous bids on silent auction items, all in support of its lifesaving work. Founded in Oakland in 1874, the East Bay SPCA is an independent, privately funded organization that operates two adoption facilities, one in Oakland and one in Dublin, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in Oakland. Over the last decade, EBSPCA has placed more than 25,000 dogs and cats in loving homes. Papaya-East Bay SPCAAmong the guest stars appearing at Growl, Meow & Wine, along with her adopters, is Papaya, a 14-year-old Chihuahua that EBSPCA rescued from another shelter where she was in danger of being euthanized due to her advanced age. Hers is one of the many happy stories to be told Sunday afternoon at the Dublin adoption center. Get the details here.
