DogTrekker is happy to report that our rescue partners, the San Francisco SPCA and Pets Unlimited, have merged, creating a centralized animal care nonprofit. As a result, the organization’s two veterinary hospitals will both fall under the San Francisco SPCA Veterinary Hospital name. Despite the name change, there will be no changes in operations at the hospitals. Clients and their pets will continue to receive great care from the same veterinarians and support staff at each campus location.

The two like-minded organizations, both with a mission to treat and save animals, are now even more effective. By teaming up, they have increased organizational resources and enhanced operations, which in turn allow us to better serve animals, clients, and the community. Clients at both San Francisco SPCA locations will continue to receive the same great services and quality veterinary care, including 24-hour emergency services at the Pacific Heights Campus. The adoption services at both campuses are expanding too. Preview all of their adorable, adoptable animals at sfspca.org. The San Francisco SPCA is a community-funded nonprofit that receives no government funding and is not part of any national organization. Their vision is to help create a community where every animal has a loving home.
