Bay to Barkers helps the East Bay's dogs (and cats) in need

Berkeley East Bay Humane Society 2012

Nick, waiting for a homeMeet Nick, who's 1 year old and a very happy little guy. He has a curious, playful nature, so he's looking for an active home with people he can entertain with his silliness and then snuggle with when it's time to settle down. He gets along well with other small dogs and seems to enjoy their company, so he'd fit in well with a little canine companion or two. He might also get along with a dog-savvy cat, though this experiment has not been tried yet.

Nick is just one of the dogs currently in the care of the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society while they're waiting for their homes—and just one of the dogs who will be helped in a big way by the 15th Annual Bay to Barkers, coming up Sunday, July 29. For 15 years now it's been the East Bay's premier event for dogs and their humans to see and be seen, all in support of Berkeley Humane's adoption programs, training classes, veterinary services and more to help the community's animals in their time of need. DogTrekker will be there and we hope to see you!
