The Santa Cruz SPCA is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals.

They strive to prevent cruelty to animals, to stop pet overpopulation, to promote community responsibility and for the humane care, treatment and well-being of all animals through adoption, education, information, and action.

At Santa Cruz SPCA, it's all about creative community partnerships. Like when the local Anthropologie hosted adoptable dogs in a fashionable setting. Or the dog-friendly Jerk House offering a day of Jamaican cuisine and fun activities for people and dogs at the restaurant, then donating 10 percent of the proceeds to SCSPCA. more »
