San Jose Animal Care & Services provides shelter and field services for residents of San Jose, Cupertino, Los Gatos, Milpitas, and Saratoga.

Field services include enforcing animal control laws, picking up stray animals, responding to reports of animal abuse and helping animals in distress. The shelter houses and provides medical care for lost animals and adopts abandoned animals out into new homes.
