Launch your boat and set sail. Watch birds. Swim beach. General store. Fish cleaning station. Horseshoe pits. Electric motorboats only. Reservations recommended. Lake, boat ramp and day-use area C open year round. Campsites Day-use areas A B open April thru October.

Dogs are welcome at the park but must be leashed except in the dog-park area near the end of the dam. Elsewhere, away from the swimming beach you'll find lots of nooks and coves (many marked with "no swimming, diving or wading" signs) where dogs, but not their people, presumably can go for a quick dip.

From Sacramento take Hwy 99 South to Hwy 104 exit. Go East on Hwy 104,15 miles to Rancho Seco Park exit.
