The most well loved and well-used beach in Pacifica is a 3/4-mile crescent-shaped beach that marks the northern gateway to the coastline stretching south of San Francisco.

One of the most popular beginner surf spots in the Bay Area, it is often referred to as Linda Mar Beach due to its location in front of the Linda Mar subdivision. It is a state beach managed by the city and, aside from water activities, boasts a dog-friendly Taco Bell (at patio tables) with beach and ocean views.

The beach offers a recreation trail along the ocean, surfing and surf camps, restrooms and showers. It is very popular with dogs (which must be leashed.) Please bring pick-up bags and immediately pick up waste.

Help us keep this beach beautiful and dog-friendly:
• Always follow the posted rules
• Respect natural marine life and habitats
• Be aware of tides and currents
• Pack in and pack out, leaving only paw prints
