This sheltered cove in Avila offers soft sand, gentle waves and tons of off leash fun.

Lifeguards watch over the beach in summer and fire rings arrive for evening bonfires in spring. Mutt Mitt stations are situated on the road over looking the beach and clean bathrooms for humans are at the top of the ramp.

Dogs under strict voice control are welcome to romp off-leash.
