One reviewer writes: "We stopped by here on the way to Point Arena - they have great empanadas, and I loved their raspberry cheese Danish! They also have a good chai latte that isn't listed on the main menu. Cute little spot and very fresh baked goods! I highly recommend stopping by here if you're driving through."

What matters to Max is a comfortable place to curl at your feet while you imbibe. There’s no shortage of wineries that fit the bill in Mendocino County’s Anderson Valley, an area bisected by Highway 128 and encompassing the Boonville, Philo, Yorkville Highlands and Navarro wine regions. more »
