Romp on this beach tucked in behind a main street in Moss Landing.

This beach is located behind MBARI. There is an entrance next to Phil's Fish Market and at the end of Sandholt Road. It is not a huge beach but definitely big enough for you and your dog to have a nice walk. At the northern end of the beach, there is a jetty where you can watch boats go out into the bay.

Many of the dogs we saw here were off-leash but we were unable to determine whether that is official or not.

There is a sign that says dogs must be on leash but it seems to be a beach where that rule isn't necessarily enforced. At the entrance to the beach there is a dog poop bag dispenser.
