Heron's Head Park is a 24 acre park located in the Southern Waterfront of San Francisco. This peninsular park is home to Salt Marsh and Upland restoration activity, walking paths, bird-watching, environmental education activities, and the EcoCenter at Heron's Head Park.

The trail through Heron's Head Park is strictly on-leash, as it is home to many shorebirds, waterfowl and aquatic wildlife. The park has been recently renovated, however, and now features a fenced-in area for dogs to play off-leash.
