East of Eden K-9 rescue is a 501c(3) nonprofit companion animal rescue founded in 2001. Their service area extends from Brentwood in eastern Contra Costa County to Santa Nella in Merced County.

East of Eden works with dogs and cats from the community at large and from the shelters in their area.
