The 1867 Weaver building in the heart of Downieville is the home of mountain bike outfitter Yuba Expeditions.

The third floor was remodeled in 2005 as a pet-friendly vacation rental sleeping up to eight. Furnishings include three queen-sized beds, one leather sleeper sofa and three twin trundles that slide out from the wall.

Two full baths, two fireplaces, a large dining area, a giant, well equipped kitchen overlooking the river and excellent summer swimming and fishing out back are among other amenities.
