Visit Cornerstone Sonoma, a wine country Marketplace featuring a collection of world-class shopping, boutique wine rooms, artisanal foods, art-inspired gardens, live music, and home to the newly completed Sunset Gardens + Outdoor Test Kitchen.

In the Sunset Outdoor Kitchen testing, exploring, and photographing recipes and kitchen crafts is an ongoing event, always in search of the best new ideas and insider tips to share with visitors.

The Sunset Test Gardens span a quarter acre, where an interesting variety of plants and trees grow.

Designed by Homestead Design Collective, the new gardens are divided into distinct rooms: the Cocktail Garden, the Farm Garden, Gathering Space, Backyard Orchard, and the Flower Room.

Carneros, Here We Come

What part of the Napa and Sonoma valleys is closest to the Bay Area and Sacramento? The answer: Carneros, a wine-growing region and AVA (American Viticultural Area) that spans parts of Sonoma and Napa counties and backs up to San Pablo Bay. The marine influence makes Carneros (which means “sheep” in Spanish) a bit cooler than regions up-valley, with a microclimate ideal for cultivation of grapes used in sparkling wine production.
