Butterfield Ranch Resort is a mobile home and RV park, located in the high desert at the base of the Julian and Laguna Mountains. Butterfield Ranch is rich with history from the Butterfield Stage Coach days. It is a quiet rural park with over 200 full hook up sites and 100 primitive tent sites.

From the Julian/Santa Ysabel area on CA-78 East, turn left on CA-79 in Santa Ysabel. Travel 15.9 miles to S-2. Turn right on S-2 towards the Anza Borrego Desert. Travel 16.7 miles on S-2 South. Turn right on CA-78. Next left on Great Southern Stage Route of 1849 (S-2) South. Travel 12 miles to the Ranch.
