The Bassett’s Station Motel is open year-round. It is located at the intersection of Scenic Byway 49 and Gold Lake Road, providing easy access to the Yuba River and the Lakes Basin Recreational Area.

In the summer the Lakes Basin Recreational Area is a favorite location for hiking, four-wheeling, biking, fishing, boating, swimming and camping. In winter, they have easy access for snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

The Lakes Basin snowmobile staging area is right outside their front door, providing hundreds of miles of groomed trails.
