In 2001, a small group of West Sonoma County dog owners began negotiations with the Sonoma County Regional Parks Department to develop a safe, attractive and accessible off-leash area at Ragle Ranch Park in Sebastopol.

In order to make their vision a reality they realized that a great deal of work lay ahead, but persevered because of the commitment they had to try and provide dogs in the community a quality local dog park. The Ragle Ranch Dog Park was developed and is run as a partnership between Volunteers and Sonoma County Regional Parks Department.

Park hours: Open from sunrise to sunset year round.

• Special "small dog" hours are offered daily from 11 a.m.-noon and 3-4 p.m. 
• Up to approximately 30 lbs.
• Monday–Friday: 11 a.m. to noon
• Saturday & Sunday: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
