The Animal Care and Control Bureau is part of the Clearlake Police Department. The bureau consists of animal control officers, kennel technicians and a part-time veterinarian, in addition to volunteers. The City of Clearlake contracts with North Bay Animal Services to provide animal control officers and additional kennel staff.

For citizens of the City of Clearlake, you should contact the Clearlake Police Department dispatch at (707) 994-8251, Option 1 when reporting any and all animal complaints, welfare checks, reports of abuse, vicious or dangerous animals at large, animal bites, injured animals and all other animal nuisance reports.
