4 R Friends is an all volunteer powered and all donation based Sacramento non-profit organization working in and with the community to rescue pets with life threatening illness and injury from local shelters where they would be euthanized, give them the medical care they need to survive, and the manners and social skills they need to flourish before finding them loving forever homes. 

4 R Friends hold free clinics to provide wellness and emergency veterinary care, equipment, food, and access to low cost spay/neuter services for Sacramento's low income and indigent pet owners.
