1. Whitewater Canyon Loop Trail

2. Homestead Trail

A glowing cross hovers above Palm Desert come nightfall, and the dog-friendly Homestead Trail (AKA “The Cross Hike”) will take you right to it. This moderate hike rewards you with sweeping views of the Coachella Valley.

3. Palm Springs Museum Trail

This two-mile trail tucked behind the Palm Springs Art Museum offers a great workout for you and Fido, with valley views at the top, to boot.

4. South Lykken Trail

A local favorite, this Palm Springs trail gets your blood pumping as you hike beside incredible rocks and boulders before discovering views of Tahquitz Canyon at the peak.

5. Mission Creek Preserve

Discover a private slice of paradise at Mission Creek Preserve. Gorgeous views include desert scenery and stone structures, plus your pup will enjoy the namesake Mission Creek.
