Peace of Mind Dog Rescue celebrated their Fifth Annual “Oldies But Goodies” event last weekend – their biggest (and funkiest!) fundraising event of the year.
The event was a wonderful success with guests grooving to the tunes of The Salty Dogs and enjoying amazing food, wine and microbrews.
A few adoptable dogs charmed the crowd, soliciting for belly rubs and meeting potential adopters. There were also a few beloved POMDR Adopted Dogs present with their lucky adoptive families!
“Oldies But Goodies” featured a silent auction and raffle packed with beautiful dog-friendly gift baskets, local art and unique jewelry. Attendees sported their 70’s swag for a costume competition and partied in the far out atmosphere that was complete with lava lamps, pet rocks and beaded curtains!
The "Oldies But Goodies" event raised over $30,000 for Peace of Mind Dog Rescue. Many wonderful senior dogs and senior citizens on the Central Coast will benefit from this fundraiser.
Thank you to all who attended!
